Hi there! I'm Cassie and I've been studying voice for over 10 years and am extremely passionate about the act of singing itself and teaching others how to unlock their singing potential. I studied Musical Theatre at the Victorian College of the Arts and also NIDA (National Theatre of Dramatic Arts).
I currently work as a full time performer in my wedding band, ‘Maple Creek’. I believe that having a teacher that is also working as a professional performer is vital. That way they can bring a whole wealth of information not just on singing technique but, real life experience as a vocal performer as well.
Over the past couple of years I have expanded my singing technique study and began working with the Estil Method. In 2017 I completed study of levels 1 & 2.
My lessons cover: singing for leisure, exams, HSC performance, auditions, performances etc. Masterclasses or intensives for HSC can be arranged, contact Cassie to learn more about this.
All ages welcome! All styles covered as well. Absolute beginners to advanced.
I try and make my lessons a good mix between professional and fun. Expect to work hard but, have a looooot of fun whilst doing so :)

All through her childhood and into her early years of professional singing, my singing lessons were the most memorable part of her week. I try to make this so for all my students I teach today. Lessons with me are focused and professional but, definitely not intense/scary and full of fun :)
In lessons you will work on beginner-advanced technique, performance technique and expanding your repertoire. Students looking to make performing their career or 'side hussle' will be giving career mentorship to help achieve their goals.
I specialises in students studying music for their HSC with voice as their instrument for practical exams. Over the past few years 90% of my students have received Band 6's for their music exams. As someone that studied Music and Music Extension not that long ago, I love sharing my knowledge of the experience of the exams as well as working on technique, song selection and performance technique. Marking criteria for HSC Music is different to just 'performing a song', there are guidelines that HSC markers keep to and I'll make sure to keep up to date with guidelines to make sure her students have the best tools and chance of acquiring their desired mark in the HSC.
As a graduate of a full time musical theatre course and as a seasoned theatre performer on the independent theatre scene, Music Theatre will also hold a special place in my heart. My training focuses on classical technique, crucial for singers wanting to perform in musicals.
Not only will you learn the same as other students taking singing lessons (technique, vocal health, career mentorship), you will also learn performance techniques specific to music theatre i.e. acting through song, lyric analysis, how to prepare for a theatre audition etc.
